LSF PARTICIPATES IN CONSULTATIVE MEETING ON THE NATIONAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE POLICY DRAFT.

On April 16, 2025, the Legal Services Facility (LSF), represented by its Programme Manager, Mr. George Mollel, actively took part in a technical consultative meeting organized by the Ministry of Constitution and Legal Affairs in Dar es Salaam. The purpose of the meeting was to gather stakeholders' input on the Draft National Criminal Justice Policy.

LSF’s participation forms part of its broader commitment to contributing to the improvement of the criminal justice system in Tanzania, through inclusive and participatory dialogue. The session brought together Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), faith-based institutions, and other key actors to share insights and recommendations that reflect the real needs and experiences of citizens.

By amplifying the voices of marginalized communities and ensuring justice systems are accessible and fair, LSF continues to support national efforts to build a responsive, inclusive, and people-centered criminal justice framework. This aligns with LSF’s strategic goal of promoting equal access to justice for all, especially for vulnerable and underserved populations.
