As the Vice Chair of the Mama Samia Legal Aid LSF actively participated in the official launch of the 10-day campaign held on March 28, 2025, in Arusha Region. The event was officiated by Arusha Regional Commissioner Hon. Paul Makonda, who served as the Guest of Honour.

This nationwide campaign aims to raise public awareness on legal rights, reduce gender-based violence, and ensure that legal aid services are more accessible—especially for women and children. LSF’s participation was led by Mr. George Mollel, the Program Manager, representing LSF’s Executive Director.

Arusha becomes the 23rd region to benefit from this campaign, which is set to reach all regions across Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar, amplifying access to justice and promoting a culture of rights and equality throughout the country.
